In San Francisco in the 1900s, a white woman is murdered in Chinatown. The suspect is Chinese. The murder caused a social shock and public opinion demanded that Chinatown be made illegal. Qin Fu (Liu Haoran), a practitioner of Chinese medicine, and Ah Gui (Wang Baoqiang), a Chinese man, are involved in the case and race against time to find the killer.
