Dexter Morgan: I lived in the dark for a long time
replaces his father in some shots, as the two look very much alike. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in Season 2, the scar moved to the right side, leaving his left side without a mark. Over the years, my eyes adjusted until the dark became my world and I could see.

Theme SongWritten by Rolfe KentPerformed by Rolfe Kent I read Lindsay’s excellent books – Darkly Dreaming Dexter and Dearly Devoted Dexter – a while back and when I heard that a TV series was being made based on the books I was incredibly excited. So much so that I was afraid I would be disappointed because my standards were so high. Thankfully, Dexter absolutely lives up to the hype. The series maintains the uncomfortable atmosphere of the novels with more fidelity than you might expect, and Dexter (played by Hall) is all there.
Disturbing, for sure, but more importantly, fascinating
The visuals of the series are stunning, to say the least. It’s impossible not to find some kind of connection with Dexter when watching the series. He’s a monster, and yet you can relate to him completely. 10 out of 10.
